GOOD QUESTIONS.
Cerakote or powder coat: which do I need?
Cerakote is thin and precise, good for parts with tight tolerances or fine detail. Powder coat is thicker and tougher, good for big metal parts that take hits. Tell us what the part is and we will recommend one.
What can you coat?
Most metal parts, plus some other materials with Cerakote. Side-by-side parts, wheels, art, furniture, auto parts and firearms are all common. If you are unsure, send a photo.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the job, the prep needed and how busy the shop is. We give you a turnaround estimate with your quote.
Do I need to take parts apart first?
Disassembled parts coat best. If you need help, ask when you request a quote and we will let you know what is possible.
Can you match a color I already have?
Often, yes. Bring in a sample or send the color name and we will find the closest match.
